EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION – Year 2003

‘AL-AMEEN LOK-HIT CHARITABLE TRUST’ has the tradition of promotion of education and felicitation of excellence in education.

In the year - 2003, the Trust under joint auspices of Zen Bhatia of U.S.A. felicitated with cash prize and citation, 33 students of 12th Std. (H.S.C. Science & Common Stream) & 10th Std. (S.S.C.) who secured merit position among first ten in their district.

The highest percentage of marks :-

(1) 12th Std. Science Stream 92.31% and 1st merit position in district.

(2) 12th Std. Common Stream 85.17% and 2nd merit position in district.

(Miss Peerzada Zenabbibi Maheboobali - Baroda)

(3) 10th Std. S.S.C. 92.93% and 1st merit position in district.

(Miss Malik Ifat Mohd. Iqbal - Gandhinagar)

The Total of 33 consists of 12 boys and 21 girls.

These students came from 16 districts of the state having total 25 districts i.e.2/3 of the state.

Dahod district tops the list with 8 rewardees having 6 boys and 2 girls.

Excellence in Education – Year 2004

‘Al-Ameen Lok-hit Charitable Trust’ Persuing its tradition of felicitating the students who got merit position at the examinations held in 2004 by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar.

The Trust under the joint auspices of Mr. Zen Bhatia (U.S.A.) felicitated students who obtained merit position among first ten in the district.

In all 36 students from the results of 12^th Science, 12^th Std. General stream and from 10^th S.S.C. were short listed. The list of 36 candidate consisted of 17 boys and 19 girls. The girls from Dahod district, as in previous years, were ahead of others. In all five girls obtained merit position. Three were from 12^th science and two from Std. S.S.C.

The following obtained 1^st merit position in their district.

All the 36 were felicitated with citation and with cash prize of Rs.2,000/- (12^th Science), Rs.1,500/- (12^th General) and Rs.1,000/- (10^th Std. S.S.C.)

This number increases year after year and girls surpass boys.

Admission and Financial Assistance for Diploma Engineering Courses after 10th Std.

To Students of remote villages of the state

During academic year 2004-2005 ‘Al-Ameen Lok-hit Charitable Trust’ started special drive for admission and financial assistance to the students of remote villages.

The following 10 students got admission through ‘Al-Ameen Lok-hit Charitable Trust’ in various diploma Engineering courses at ‘Sad Adam Polytechnic, Bhiwandi, Dist. Thane (Maharashtra) and Trust shouldered most of the study expenses.
